Inside: traditional squeegee

Interiors get the classic clean - squeegee, detailing cloths, edges done by hand, sills wiped. Shoes off or covered, furniture treated like it's ours.

Why is there a $150 minimum?

Setup, travel and gear cost the same whether we clean six windows or sixty. The $150 minimum keeps small jobs honest. It's easy to make it work harder: add flyscreens at $3 a window, or bundle a solar clean ($15 a panel) or a gutter clean into the same visit.

How do you get to the second-storey windows?

With a water-fed pole from the ground - pure water is pumped up to a soft brush that reaches two storeys. No ladders against your house, nobody on the roof. Two-storey exteriors start at $250.

Do you do the insides too, or just outside?

Both. Outside is pure water; inside is the traditional squeegee-and-cloth clean with edges detailed by hand. In-and-out is from $14 a pane, or from $300 for a typical single-storey home. For inside work we arrange a time when you're home.

What do you charge for those little French panes?

$2.50 per small pane. A French door with 15 panes is $37.50 a side - fiddly work, but priced fairly so you're not paying full-window rates for each little square.

Do you clean flyscreens and tracks as well?

Yes - screens brushed and washed, tracks vacuumed and wiped, sills detailed. $3 a window on top of the glass price. If your screens haven't been off in years, this is the add-on that makes the whole house feel different.

Do you clean comfort glass and coated windows?

Yes, and we treat it properly. Comfort glass (ComfortPlus and similar low-E) carries a soft coating that a single pass with a blade marks permanently - and on single-glazed comfort glass that coating faces inward, so it is the surface we meet cleaning your insides. No blades, no abrasive pads, microfibre only. It takes longer, so it is quoted a little higher, and we identify it at the inspection so the price is agreed before we start. Never after.
